What readers have said of Faith Mishael and her work

“[Her] ability to weave intricate details into this story is impressive[.] The overall plot is interesting, following a murder trail, and that story-as-journey device served [her] very well!”

- Robert (Joe) Betz, MFA, on Mishael’s short story “Serial Killer Road Trip”

“The way that [she] walk[s] through a close reading with an eye to historical detail is simply excellent here. Every bit of this is nicely organized. It’s careful. [Her] writing is crystal clear from the very first sentence to the very last.”

- Seth Forrest, PhD, on Mishael’s analysis of “September Song” by Geoffrey Hill

“[Her] poems feel weird to me -- and that’s a good thing. The images are specific and it is playful and unexpected in some of the descriptions. There’s some risk and I like it.”

- Crystal Curry, author of prizewinning poetry books “But I Have Realized It” and “Our Chrome Arms of Gymnasium”
